We love spending Easter with family! We celebrated at church this morning, followed by Easter baskets and the annual egg hunt. We have a family tradition where the boys decorate Easter eggs the week before Easter, and then they hunt for eggs in our backyard after Church. This year was Noah's first Easter, and the boys were excited to share the day with their cousin! Such a fun time with family!!

Art
Jack loves to draw, and if you ask him what he wants to be when he grows up, he says he wants to be either an illustrator or cartoonist (or sometimes a Lego designer ;)) His Kindergarten teacher suggested we look into private lessons for him to help foster this love of art and help develop his skills. We've been looking for an art class for Jack, and after a little research, we stumbled onto a little studio in town called Averyboo Art that is just for kids. We decided to check it out and see if they have any classes that might be good for our budding artist. Jack loved it, of course, but I was very surprised at how much Luke loved it, as well! As we were leaving, Jack said he had a good feeling about this place. We agree, and will be starting him in lessons soon. We can't wait to see how he uses the talents God has given him!
Here's a little throwback...me at age 5!

Wish Reveal
I recently planned a wish reveal for a 7 year old boy who's wish is to go to Disney World. So we went with a Mickey and Friends theme for the decorations. We had a local bakery design an amazing cake that incorporated all of the boy's favorite Disney characters and looked like Cars Land! Here are a few pictures (obviously, none of the wish child for privacy reasons!)
Trike-a-Thon 2013
Each year, Luke's preschool has a trike-a-thon to raise money for the school. The kids bring their bikes, scooters, trikes, skitters, basically anything they are able to ride, and they ride around the parking lot in circles. They have SO MUCH FUN with this and it's so cute to watch. Well...this year we actually had the weather to contend with, which is odd for Southern California! Luke's class got a couple of rounds in before it started to rain on them. Ms. Angie moved the fun inside and the kids rode around in the social hall. It wasn't as exciting as riding around the parking lot, but the kids had fun, anyway. Luke was so excited to ride his bike with his friends!
