Fun Outside

I got some pictures of Jack and Nick playing outside. Jack loves to draw with sidewalk chalk (the neighbor kids introduced him to this). He's also starting to learn to ride a bike! He's still getting the hang of the whole pedaling thing, but it won't be long until he's racing up and down the block!!!

My Three Boys

Life with three boys is definitely exciting. It won't be long until Luke is in on all of the action- running around, throwing balls, and wrestling on the floor! Jack loves his little brother. He calls him "little buddy" and refers to him as "my Luke." These pictures are a little out of order in the blog- they were taken when Luke was 2 weeks old. He's now 6 weeks old and has already changed so much!

First Real Smile

Luke gave me his first real smile today when I turned on his mobile. I didn't catch the smile with the camera, but he looks pretty content in these pictures, and very interested in what's going on above him!

One Month Old

I can't believe it has already been a month! Luke is getting big. He still sleeps most of the day, but has settled into a little routine and pretty much eats and sleeps on schedule. He is a good baby and doesn't fuss very much. He's starting to smile more, but I think it's mostly gas. Oh well, it's still a cute smile!

New Family Pictures

Since our family has expanded, we needed to update our family photos. Luke cooperated and opened his eyes for his solo picture!

Home for Good

After an overnight stay in the hospital, Luke has been given a clean bill of health and is now back home with us!

Our neighbors made a sign for the front door to welcome Luke home.

Two cute boys!!!

Jack is a wonderful big brother. He is very protective of Luke.

We were able to visit Luke in the hospital every few hours while he was receiving his phototherapy.

Welcome Baby Luke!

We are so excited that baby Luke James Gisler joined us on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at 1:55 AM. He weighed 6 lbs, 9.7 oz. and is 19 inches long, which puts him just a half a pound bigger than Jack at birth and 3/4 of an inch longer. We have had a bit of a scare, as Luke has jaundice and had to go back to the hospital for some treatment. We understand this is pretty common, but is still unsettling and we are anxiously waiting for him to return home. He is a cutie and Jack is loving being a big brother. He is very protective of the baby and is a big helper.

Happy Halloween!

It only made sense for Jack to be a dinosaur for Halloween. He loved his costume and did a good dinosaur "roar!" Zak, Jody and Adam came over to do a little trick or treating. The boys did really well and made it all the way up and down the block!

Jack's Pirate Pumpkin

Jack had been asking to make a pirate pumpkin for Halloween. We found a great kit, and he is so proud of his Pirate Pumpkin!

Mickey's House

Jack has been asking to visit Mickey's house since we took him for his birthday. Our annual passes are finally usable, so we spent a few hours at the park. Jack wanted to give all of the characters a "high five." Here we are with Mickey and Minnie (me in all of my 9-months pregnant glory!)

Jack at the Pumpkin Patch

Auntie Tiffany took Jack to the pumpkin patch and he had a great time! He wanted to ride all of the rides by himself. What a big boy! He picked out his own pumpkin, which he is very proud of!!

Jack at the Horse Stables

We took Jack to horse stables out by Grandma and Grandpa Clark's house. Jack had fun saying "hi" to all of the horses. He really liked the "mommy and baby horse."

Play Time

We had a big day up in Paso Robles. We took the boys to the park and then headed to the Blake's house for a BBQ and some swim time. Even Cooper and Addie got in on the fun. The boys topped the night off with ice cream drumsticks (not sure if more made it on their faces or in their bellies!)
