Thanksgiving Parade

In November, Jack's preschool held a Thanksgiving "parade" and feast.  Jack's class dressed as American Indians, and all of the classes paraded around the school.  The "feast" consisted of chicken strips, mashed potatoes and biscuits (yum).  Jack seemed to really like the chicken strips, and he made a very cute Indian!

Bounce!

I can't believe my baby is 2 years old!  Where is the time going?  To celebrate Luke's birthday we had a bounce party, complete with a bounce house, lots of balls and 15 fabulous kids! It was a great afternoon with good friends.

Nick and Adam manning the BBQ!

The kids all decorated their own "balls" to hang on the wall.  We had some great creations!
Cayla taught Luke to hula hoop. He didn't understand that the hula hoop should move and he should remain in one place. Instead, he turned around in circles while holding the hula hoop around him. Too cute!

Dinner time!  Dino chicken, Tater Tots, apple sauce and grapes- a dream dinner for any toddler/preschooler!

The kids got to decorate their own cupcakes! Tiffany helped me make them the night before, and we had such a fun time making the colored frosting! The kids got to pick from red, pink, blue, turquoise, and green. We had all sorts of sprinkles to top the colorful cupcakes. The kids did an excellent job making a mess and creating some awesome looking cupcakes! The adults got in on the fun, too, but they had better toppings to choose from. The crumbled Reese's Peanut Butter Cups were the big hit!

The kids came in the house as a pack and declared it was movie time.  We let Luke pick the movie, so of course he picked The Fantastic Mr. Fox.  It was so cute to see the kids sitting together (at least for a few minutes!) and watching the movie.

Here comes trouble!
 Present time!

Too cute!  Luke got dancing Mickey from Grandma and Grandpa Clark.  Ya, I'd say that was a big hit!

Ready for bed after a long, fun day!

The bounce house was even fun the next morning!

Josh is a minimalist.  I like it!

I think the message here is Go "L"- as in Luke and Lana!
