On our way home from Brian Head on New Year's Eve, we stopped at State Line to have lunch with Grandma and Grandpa Clark, who were there for the New Year's Eve celebration. While eating teriyaki chicken and white rice, Jack complained that his loose front tooth was hurting. A couple minutes later, he spit out a tooth!!! His first lost tooth! He was so very excited, as were we! That night, we set up the pillow that Grandma Stow made for him, and hung the pocket on the door. Jack wrote a letter to the Tooth Fairy and we set his tooth in the pocket. The next morning, Jack awoke to find a letter from the Tooth Fairy, along with $5 for his first tooth! Our little man is growing up!!!

Brian Head, Utah!
This year instead of going to Mammoth or June Lake, we headed to Brian Head, Utah. The drive was a couple hours longer, but it was so worth it for the amazing snow conditions and great ski resort. This year both boys were on skis!!! It was amazing to see Luke on skis for the first time- he picked it up so quickly! Jack retained what he learned last year, and was zooming down the mountain! Nick and Jack made a sled run next to our cabin, and we also built a snowman which was more of a "snow bee." Luke called it "Wolfie" from one of his favorite cartoons, Special Agent Oso. Jack just called it "Snow Bee." On our last day, we had pajama day and relaxed while it snowed outside. This was a great trip and I'm sure we'll be visiting Brian Head again.

Silly Buddy
Our Elf on the Shelf, Buddy, was only with us for a couple of days, so he decided to stay through Christmas Day and then return to the North Pole. He left a very nice note for the boys and they were able to say goodbye to buddy until next year.
