Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!  We had our annual barbeque and were joined by half of the Del Vecchio Family this year (Josh was sick, so Adam stayed home with him).  The boys had a great time, and Luke seemed to really enjoy trick-or-treating (other than the occassional scary-lookng monster or witch!)  This year we put Jack in charge of our costumes, so (surprise!) we were a superhero family once again.  This year, all of the boys were Batman, and I was Robin Girl. Jack told me I had to be Robin Girl because he was going to be Batman, and I'm his girl :) The boys looked SO CUTE in their Batman costumes.  I was very proud of Nick for dressing up, since he really can't stand doing it.  What a trooper!  We made our way around the neighborhood and the neighbors were so wonderful to the boys.  We then headed back to the house, and I'm pretty sure Jack and Luke had just as much fun handing out candy as they did receiving it!  Jack called out to the neighborhood that we had candy ("Get your treat!  Get your treat!")  The boys didn't like the lulls between groups of kids.  All in all, a very successful Halloween spent with good friends!

All of our neighbors get together to hand out candy, so we can hit up half of our block in one driveway.  They LOVED the boys' costumes, and Jack and Luke got lots of love (and candy) here!

Grandparents' Day

It was Grandparents' Day at Jack's preschool, which means Fall recital time!  Jack wasn't as animated this year as last, but did a good job "respecting others," as Ms. Angie, the preschool director, so eloquently put it! That, of course, did not keep him from sticking his finger up his nose for the better part of a song, but what can you do?!  Grandma and Grandpa Stow, and Grandma and Grandpa Clark were able to make the recital, and this was a surprise to the boys, so they were really excited to see everyone!

Below is Ms. Angie.  She is just wonderful and loves the kids!

Sorry for the bad picture quality...
