Santa Party 2012!

Merry Christmas!  Where did 2012 go?  The boys enjoyed the holiday season, from Thanksgiving through Christmas.  We had our annual Santa party again this year, and the kiddos were so excited to tell Santa about their hopes for new toys.   The Del Vecchios came over a little early, and we exchanged Lazer Tag sets!  The boys were SO EXCITED!  The kiddos sang Christmas Caroles when Santa was near so that he would know to stop at our house. This year, Jack has asked for the Lego Joker Fun House and Luke has asked for his very own bow, arrow and target.  Jack changed his mind on what he was going to ask Santa for- originally, he was going to ask for a Hawkeye bow and arrow.  He was very nervous that Santa wouldn't have time to get the Lego Joker Fun House for him.  He wrote Santa a very nice letter asking for his new choice.  We adopted Buddy, the Elf on a Shelf, this year, and Jack was so surprised when Santa told him that Buddy had delivered Jack's letter to Santa directly! Santa read the letter out loud, and it was so fun to see Jack's face light up!  Cousin Noah had his first visit with Santa (who he was very comfortable with ;) )  The Birds and Natoris also joined us.  We made our annual ornaments (reindeers from thumb prints this year), decorated sugar cookies and made Marshmallow snowmen.  We so enjoy this tradition and sharing it with friends!
