I love that we have family traditions. This year, Tiffany decorated cupcakes with the boys, and the "Easter Bunny" made a visit in the backyard (yes, he even comes in the rain!)

Happy 5th Birthday, Jack!
For Jack's 5th Birthday, we started at this amazing place that has wall-to-wall trampolines. Even the adults got in on the jumping action. We then followed the Bat Signal back to our house for cupcakes and more fun. It was such a fun day!
Adam learned that once you sink in the pit, it's almost impossible to get out without a little help...
Jack asked Nick to make an appearance as "Batman." Awesome Daddy!
The kids' giftbags had capes and masks so that everyone could be a Super Hero!

Random Posts from Spring 2011
While I'm in the midst of busy season at work, Nick does an awesome job of sending me pics of the boys and the little adventures they have with Daddy. Here are some of the pictures I got this Spring.

Nick took the boys to the driving range. Luke LOVES to play golf, and both boys are great about hitting off the tee.

Imagination Movers
The boys love to watch Disney Jr., and one of their favorite shows is Imagination Movers. Luke really loves the Movers, so when we got the chance to see them in concert again this year, we jumped. Yes, we jumped. The Movers just might be the coolest kid concert you can attend. The band "gets" that the parents have to bear this, so they throw a few songs in just for us, which keeps it entertaining. The Del Vecchios joined us again this year, and the boys had a dance party in the aisle. Too fun!

Luke loves to sing Imagination Movers songs at home, and his favorite is the theme song. Here's a sample!

Go Reds!
Jack played T-ball this Spring in the Pony league. He liked being with his friends, Daniel and Joseph, but we don't think he ever really cared about the T-ball. During one game, the coach put him on 2nd base, but Jack decided he'd rather be at 3rd with Daniel. Oops. To remedy this, the coach started drawing a circle around Jack and telling him to stay in his circle. When the coach would forget to draw the circle, Jack would draw his own circle around himself. The only problem was that Jack took the whole "stay in your circle" commandment very literally, and as a result, wouldn't run for the ball. During one game, it went between his legs and he just watched it roll through. When we told him it was ok to run after the ball and reassured him that the coach wouldn't be mad, it was like a revelation! Well, he still enjoyed the season and loved hanging out with his friends. Not sure if T-ball is in his future, but if he decides to pursue it, we'll be in the stands cheering him on!

Catcher was NOT Jack's favorite position. The catcher's uniform was wearing him, rather than the other way around.
